Eliminate Ghost, Zombie and Late-Start Meetings

Teem account admins can activate the Event Check-in feature for the conference room display so it cancels reserved meetings if no one checks in within a designated time frame.

A few minutes prior to the start of the event, EventBoard will display a check-in screen asking someone in the meeting to confirm the booking. If no one checks in, the reservation is automatically removed so that others can utilize the space.

It’s one of our most popular features because it enables organizations to squash late start meetings – if people don’t arrive on time to check in, there goes their conference room. Enabling the check-in feature also banishes “zombie” meetings, as we call them around here, which are recurring meetings that were scheduled long ago and then forgotten.

End Events Early

Having an interactive display means meetings can also be ended early. With a simple tap on the display, the reservation is ended and the room becomes available to other employees who need it. Integration with room sensors or beacons is also possible, which allows the display to automatically take action related to occupancy.

Maps

This feature allows customers to take their floor plans and have them turned into interactive, isometric maps that show on the EventBoard displays. Available spaces show up as green, whereas booked spaces are red. Tap on a specific meeting room to see which resources are tied to it, from videoconferencing equipment to number of chairs.

What if the room someone wants to reserve is already occupied? Employees can use EventBoard displays to find out which other rooms are available, without walking around from room to room, then book an available space anywhere – right from the display they’re currently viewing.

Work Requests

We’ve all been there. Something in the meeting room didn’t work during your presentation, whether it was the TV screen or the videoconferencing service. With our Work Request feature, report those issues right away from the EventBoard display, so IT knows what’s on the fritz. Things don’t get fixed if no one knows they’re broken.

Change Device Settings From One Central Location

There’s no need to walk to each display around the office when something needs to be changed. Simply log in to your EventBoard account from any computer, and you can make the changes you need to any device. Although it’s possible to change the settings for each conference room display independently via your account, many of our customers prefer to set preferences at the floor, building or even campus level, which lets the settings trickle down to displays at all lower levels and reduces the time spent on the task.

Operating Hours

Device Offline Alerts

Account administrators can turn on Device Alerts, which causes the display to ping the network and an email to go out if the device is offline for a set amount of time.
