LobbyConnect customers have access to easily navigable logs of information about each visitor that has checked in using LobbyConnect. Learn how to access these logs and about the data they provide. Our customers use this information in a multitude of ways -- for compliance reasons, to know which visitors are in the building at a given time, to perform analysis on the mix of visitor types hosted by each location, etc.

With the appropriate account privileges, a user can see and interact with the visitor log generated by the LobbyConnect. To browse there, log in to teem.com, then select Manage → Visitors → Logs in the left menu. This will take you to your Visitor Log.

Navigating LobbyConnect Visitor Logs

Visitor Logs contain a ton of information. We’ve broken it down into four sections below.

Visitor Info

On the Visitor Logs page, in the Visitor Info column, you should see a small photo of each visitor, taken by the iPad at check-in, along with their name and their company’s name. If you click the visitor name, a pop-out will appear on the right side containing a larger version of their photo, the visitor name, their email address, the phone number they provided, and their company name. There is also a Filter By Visitor button that will display all entries from this visitor in your log.

Visit Details

On the Visitor Logs page, under the Visitor Details you will see the Visitor Type that the visitor used at check in. If you click on the Visit Type title, a pop-out menu will open to the right of the screen. In this pop out, you will see the Check-In Location, Check-In time, Check-Out Time, Host, Notification (check means an SMS or email was sent), and a link to a PDF of their signed contract.

Check In/Check Out

The Check-In column will tell you the check in time and date of when a visitor was at your office. The Check-Out column will rely on if your visitor type has check out enabled. If this is enabled, and your visitor checks out from the LobbyConnect display, the date and time will appear in the Check-Out section. If the visitor doesn’t check out from the LobbyConnect display, or check out is not enabled for a visitor’s Visitor Type, a red X will appear in this column.

Search and Filter


Using the Search feature will allow you to search by Visitor Name. If the visitor has checked in more than one time, it will pull up all instances of that visitor.

The Filter button will allow you to filter by results for each field of the log, such as Checked In After. This will allow you to enter a specific date and it will pull any visitor that checked in after that date.

Downloading LobbyConnect Visitor Logs

One of the questions we get asked most frequently is how to download and export the LobbyConnect visitor logs to review. The solution is as simple as clicking the yellow CSV button on the Visitor Logs page.

This nifty download as CSV button will pull all your visitor logs from the very beginning of your LobbyConnect use and export them into a .csv file, which you may view and filter via Excel. When you click the button, a prompt will let you know that your file is being compiled. You will be notified when it is ready to download.

Note: At the present time, this export does not include signed NDA files. We do however offer integrations for Box and DropBox that allow these to be saved automatically to your account.
